After running the Oxford trip and working with Oxford’s Women in Engineering Society (OUWiE) last year, we wanted to keep the tradition going and continue working with them by inviting them and their members on a day trip to Cambridge, which was generously sponsored by River Hudson Trading. The day consisted of a number of talks from both sponsors and a current professor at Cambridge, followed by a tour around the city centre and ending the trip on a high note with a formal dinner, allowing our members to meet new people and form connections with one another. It was a wonderful evening and we’re very thankful for the mini gift OUWiE has given to us and all of our attendees. We can’t wait to collaborate again soon and create even better events for our members!!
